Crusaders Rugby

We are all part of a very special organization. The term, “Once a Crusader, Always a Crusader” holds true for so many near and far. The club has been in existence since the late 80’s and officially boys and girls since 1991. The Kent Crusaders girls team was the first high school girls team in the US. Girls won a national championship in 2002, finished 2nd in the nation four times, and have won countless State titles (including last year). Boys have placed in the top ten in the nation seven times with many other successes. Over 100 girls and boys players have gone on to play at the collegiate level, some for the USA, on the national and international levels. The club has also seen some boys go on to play collegiate and professional football. The goal of the club is to teach the value of teamwork, community, and working towards a common goal while playing a game we all love to play and watch!
